Streaking

There's one thing that hasn't been discussed here this season, but I think it's worthy of calling out. Especially this late into the season.

 

Among all the ups-and-downs this season (hot shooting streaks or dry spells, deep bench depth or injuries, big wins or bad losses, etc.) we've still managed to bounce back quickly and stop the bleeding. We haven't had a losing streak longer than 2 games so far this season.

 

How does that compare to prior teams under Hoiberg at Nebraska?

We've gone from a bad team that lost everywhere to a respectable team that wins at home

I'm happy Nebraska is winning at home, let's do it again on Tues., but in order to take the next step to what we hope will be dancin', NU needs to win some time soon on the road. Hopefully the Huskers can play a complete, 40-min. ballgame the next time away from PBA. GBR

they're close. if they can just keep their bloody wits under pressure once, it can build their confidence neough to believe they'll win. they just need to crack the code. looking at the state of this conference right now, it's not at its strongest. so this is a good season to try to steal one.

They did pummel K-St. on the road. So, I know they can do it. Now, it's about proving to themselves that they can repeat it when the chips are down.

HuskerFever's graph got me thinking.... did you know that if you graph our win percentage under Fred Hoiberg by season, you can fit a polynomial trendline to it with an R^2 of 0.9961.... this means we are headed toward a 105% win percentage in 2024-25, I can't wait
