Cowboy Kermit Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Really think the Big Ten will only lose to Nova and St. John's. We should finally win this event. Quote
Crush78 Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Why do they only play 8 games? There are 10 Big East teams Quote

hskr4life Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Wisco does look improved... though I don't know how good Xavier is this year. Quote
Cowboy Kermit Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Wonder how Xavier always manages to find a big ugly white dude to park in the post. Quote
throwback Posted November 14, 2018 Author Report Posted November 14, 2018 Kind of surprised X hasn't tried the infamous Hack a Happ game plan yet. Better than letting him lay it in over and over. Quote

NUtball Posted November 14, 2018 Report Posted November 14, 2018 Watched a good bit of Georgetown-Illinois. Not sure about the quality of either team, but the game was fun to watch - quick pace and back and forth until the last couple of minutes when Illinois couldn't make a play. One thing, which most already know, Illinois will be extremely pesky. They're pressuring style is such that they commit a foul against the opposing ball handler every time but they typically find the sweet spot where the refs aren't willing to blow the whistle. Hard/frustrating to play against that - you get sliced by a million paper cuts but can never get a call. I think NU's defensive length will give them problems, though, if NU can shut down driving lanes. Quote
