Plus, their first two conference games are at home against PSU and at Indiana. Look for Hawkeye hype come January. They should be 16-2 heading into Jan. 20 home game against Purdue. Quote

Here's a minor point in defense of our Iowa St. scrimmage result: Cameron Lard (F) played against us -- and he hasn't played in a game since. In our scrimmage, Cameron Lard had 13 points on 5-8 from the field (no 3 attempts) and 3-5 from the line, with 6 rebounds and 5 blocks. But still . . . Quote
