His percentages are really good.  His points per game is comparable to Glynn, maybe a bit better.  Not as good as Roby's season averages but Roby was a big fish in a small pond whereas Nana is the best player on the best team in the state.

Where Nana excels is his 3-point shooting stats.  His percentages are cray cray.

3-ball. Yep. He's a baller. And he's taller.

Here is a quote from the article linked above:

"Akenten averaged 14.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist. He shot .492 from the field, .459 (68 of 148) from 3-point range and .640 from the free-throw line."

And here is another:

"From a statistical standpoint, there were some players in this area who averaged more points and more rebounds – many more statewide. But Akenten, as Brost said, averaged 15 points and it easily could have been 25. Instead of being concerned with his own statistics, he did everything in his power to ensure the Raiders were the best they could be."

I can certainly appreciate the unselfish approach, but if he is the real deal, we need to have him be a bit more selfish when he has open looks.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal for a school to offer a kid that has already signed a LOI with another school.

Pretty sure this past recruiting cycle Nebraska football offered a kid late that Baylor had enrolled early. #Whoops

Football is decidedly different in recruiting than basketball

could he start next year? not really sold on jack, gill, taylor. and i don't know a whole lot about palmer other than he was a solid backup at miami.

Certainly he could start next year.  If he can score (and play defense), he will be on the floor.

He has all the tools but may lack the handles. I read a review by one of the Rivals experts that questioned if Nana could play the 2 because his ball handling is a bit suspect. This experts conclusion was that Nana should play the 3.

Is he quick enough to guard a 2?  That would be interesting.

In our offense it's not too hard to picture him filling the same sort of shooting with occasional slashing that saw from Jack.
