For a minute there I thought I was in @Norm Peterson thread and was thinking to myself "what does this song have to do with Wednesday?"

We spent a lot of last season playing Griesel or CJ at the 4 defensively, so as well as Brice rebounds I'd expect hit to split time between the 3 and 4 as needed. Matchups requiring more size and/or Allick/Gary breaking out from the outside will dictate some of this. We're really going to see what type of coach Hoiberg is this year because somewhere in all of these guys is a 20 win team (as well as a 12 win team)

I really hate the abuse and really even the use of the "Power" or "P" nomenclature when describing conference status/rank. When the NCAA voted to grant autonomy over player compensation to the 5 biggest football playing conferences, and when the nickname "Power 5" came out it was immediately misunderstood and improperly used. Now we have people making idiotic posts that include "P2 or P3 or P5 or P6 or even P7" (obviously this isn't directed at you per se @hhcmatt, it's just a pet peeve of mine). It has absolutely no meaning at all any more. And now my rant is over. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

I don't know. Can you persuade a 4* kid to come to your team (in year two of his development) to be a project and a practice squad player? I've got to believe that playing time has to be an option with a plan in place on how we can and will use him. Maybe I am completely off base. Yet, what we hear from most of these kids, post-trip, is how they like the facilities as well Fred's vision for the future.

I think the big question for me is whether Brice Williams can play a Hoiberg stretch 4. Or would we rather have Allick/Gary on the floor? If Allick/Gary, then I see Williams playing one of the SG/wing spots with Keisei and someone who is a ballhandler and can initiate the offense. So, it's either Mast, Allick/Gary, Williams, Tominaga, PG OR it's Mast, Williams, Tominaga, Lawrence, PG. After the Spain trip, we'll know a lot more.
