How’s Nick defense expected to be in this system? What I’m hearing in this thread sounds like a taller Sam (Hoiberg, not Griesel) with a better stroke. If he brings hustle and knows where to be on D, he’ll get minutes whether you call it PG/SG or whatever.

If there's some way of getting Maryland again in the Big Ten tourney when we're hopefully health once again I do so want a piece of their @$$.

So, Nick is a dude. Fred is really high on him and he can shoot it very well with a hand in his face. He’s one of the few players you’ll see that actually hits more contested shots than wide open. So, hopefully that translates next year because he’s shown a knack for hitting contested shots at a very high level, so far. Listings are a bit misleading, Nick may be listed heavier than Cale but Cale is definitely not lighter than Jano. Cale could probably play for our football team.

Agree I see him as a combo now and hopefully PG later. I’ve only seen highlights (lots) and the scrimmage but I thought his handle was pretty good and I remember areal nice pass or two in the scrimmage.

Don’t have a feel for his athleticism, might not be great but didn’t seem like he is slow or anything. I’m looking forward to see what he can do.

I’ve talked to former players who are SUPER High on Rhymes & expect him to fill the Brice Role Next season (to some degree obviously) I can only hope he’s that type of Impact Player. We’ll see…

Wouldn't you run him out to start the 2nd half when you needed defensive stops?  We at least kept pace but our defense couldn't make a stop until he got in.  Then the possessions at the end of game...  I don't see guards driving the lane with Meah inside.

Just hoping guys get healthy quickly.  Northwestern is a game I wish we would keep the doubling to a minimum.
