hhcmatt Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 I saw a former Husker who works with recruits when he's not playing overseas make and delete a tweet that basically said that Wingett wasn't going to a 'real' prep school or something along those lines. I hope he doesn't fall through the cracks. Quote
uneblinstu Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 If its the tweet you're referring to, it implied if he would up at NU, it could set off all sorts of red flags because it'll be virtually impossible he'll qualify without some...help... Quote
hhcmatt Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 I saw that tweet as well...different from the one I was mentioning but the academics thing is a whole other issue. uneblinstu 1 Quote
Huskerpapa Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 He may be an ideal fit for the "Ball" league. Quote

Chuck Taylor Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 Kidney would have used a diamond and one with a double-team when the dribbler turn his back on the basket. Most third-graders wet themselves when you do that. Truth. Silverbacked1 and HB 1 1 Quote

Seen better players, including Hoppen and Strickland, but none that was more dominating. Had some issues during his career, but was an NBA draft pick in the '70s and played in the ABA. hhcmatt 1 Quote

MichHusker Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 (edited) Am I wrong or was the knock on him that he had major issues with his motor. Never want a kid that you need to beg to play hard. Like I said though, could be way off base here Edited May 1, 2018 by MichHusker Quote

Like I said though, could be way off base here Not sure, he was usually head n shoulders above others in his class when it came to athletic ability so maybe it just seemed that way. I had heard it was more of a graded Issue and the fact that his high school team isn’t known for traditional defensive concepts. he is getting quite a bit of love from the National writers right now though Quote
