I get nervous before every game we have played. But since Northwestern, this team has proven that they can handle the teams lower than them in the league. Yes that could change this game, but I hope they continue the trend.

I think we win this one.  Not sure why, perhaps because we shot lights out against them the first time out.  I cannot believe for a second that we will have a team wide slump against PSU.

If Shavon isn't back I could see the team being down with a few close-ish losses recently. But then again I don't see White going 3-17 again. And I think almost all of the individual players on the team are trending upwards in how they are playing.

If Shavon is back I think that lights a fire under the team. He is our leader and I think his return will inspire them.

And if you factor in how McVeigh is playing, this team could be really dangerous with the return of Shields. That would give us Shields, Watson, White, McVeigh, and Webster as legitimate scoring threats.

So many thoughts and possibilities for this game. But I as long as we get a win I'll be happy.

Seems games at PSU have always been close, fairly low scoring affairs (in the 60's).

A big part of the beat down in the 2nd half at home was Taylor getting fouls 3 and 4 in the first minute of the half.  I don't see something like that happening at PSU.  Heck, NU usually gets very little benefit of the doubt from the 3 stooges at home, let alone on the road.  Unless PSU shoots really poorly, this will probably be a dogfight.  They have been playing pretty decent ball of late.

They're coming off a couple of nice wins and are probably still sore at us for the beating we laid on them, BUT I have a hunch Shields and Morrow both play and we tune em' up one more time...

Not to be a downer, but it doesn't sound like Morrow is anywhere near ready to play.

The name of the game is still the same as last time: a decent shooting night + not putting them on the foul line a ton = win.

Also, when winning 3 of their last 4 it's been Shep Garner in double figures. He seems Gallegos-esque in his 3pt streakiness.
