Do we stand a chance without shields and morrow?

I know nothing about osu. I assume that point guard who gave us fits has finally graduated?

The impression I get is that most people on this board think we should get this win. There record looks pretty respectable.

Ohio State is a team that's a lot like Wisconsin in that they started the season off looking pretty terrible, but got on a hot streak and now they appear to be clicking on all cylinders.  They'll be a load for us.

I'd suggest allocating a portion of the time you use to worry about Creighton and UNO towards the B1G.

I know absolutely nothing about Creighton other than that they are having a bad year. And I am getting educated on the b1g. Why else would I start a thread to learn about osu? Seriously why else? I am doing what you are saying I should do. Wth dimes?

I always read about teams before we play on this site... Isn't that what hhc is for?

I see them about as an equal right now looking at their results in Big Ten play.  Their only conference win against anyone not in the bottom 5 of the conference was their last win against Michigan, who since shooting so hot against us went cold and got their doors blown off at home by Indiana & Mich St.  Basically their conference resume looks like ours expect they've been able to pile up more wins against the cellar dwellers.

Essentially the only thing they were able to do that we couldn't was beat Northwestern at home.  (Our win over MSU and their win over Mich sort of cancel out.)  And I think most of us would agree that we are a much different team now than we were when we played Northwestern back in December even without Shavon playing.

 

I see this being a very competitive but winnable ball game if we play our game.

This photo made me spit out the water I was drinking.  I am glad he is gone...but I am also glad Russell is gone, Craft was an aggravation, Russell was a stud. 

 

That said, if we get Shavon back and if Ed can provide us with good minutes, I will feel a lot more comfortable about this game.  We were wore out versus Indiana...we need Shavon and Ed back in the rotation.  Then you add a few hard a** minutes from Fuller and some quality minutes from Jake, and all of a sudden, our rotation looks pretty solid.

With our current rotation I don't like our chances. If we are at full strength or more importantly just get Shavon back (sorry Ed) then I think we have a really good chance to come out with a win.

Even if Shavon is back, I would expect to see someone who plays 15-20 minutes, not 30-35.  And he's going to be comparatively out of shape.

I think Michigan is a better comparison. Both Texas and Michigan haven't done alot in football (other than recruit) yet they get a bunch of love from the networks.
