I would think 11-7 would get us in the NCAA, or at least definitely on the bubble, provided we have a few quality wins, i.e Maryland, Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana.  I feel we have a real chance of stealing a couple of these games.  Why not?

My sense of NIT bubble (for a team with Nebraska's resume) is 19 wins.

11-7 league record with 0-1 record at Big Ten Tourney. (19-13) - Yes

10-8 league record with a 1-1 record at Big Ten Tourney. (19-14) - Probably

10-8 league record with 0-1 record at Big Ten Tourney. (18-14) - Doubt it.

9-9 league record with 1-1 record at Big Ten Tourney (18-15) - Really doubt it.

8-10 league record with 1-1 record at Big Ten Tourney (17-15) - No

Every scenario you listed puts the Huskers in the NIT.

Whoa.

Sam McKewon vs. CrazyforNUHOOPS.

Wow.

I'm going with neither one of them said what they said without having some good, solid basis for it.

Stated to eliminate the double negative: Both had good, solid basis for their view.

But, if Crazy says 17 wins gets us an NIT bid, I'm not going to argue it.  Crazy has earned some insider cred.

I think we're back on the NIT bubble...or something like that.

and 2 wins away from ncaa bubble.

I think we would have to go 8-3 down the stretch to be there. The losses will outweigh the wins unless the wins include Purdue, Maryland, and Michigan.

Don't overlook the reality that the committee oftentimes fall in love with the teams that are hot at the end of the year.  They will overlook some early seasons woes.  Simply put, if we keep winning, we should be fine.
