Just disappointing.  Seemed White was the only guy to show up.  Coach Miles got lost in his own world with the technical when the team was settling down.  On to Rhode Island.  Don't let this one beat you twice like last year.

I was floor level tonight. They shoot well because we have no idea how to defend them. Maybe year 5 eh?

I think you're overstating the effect of the T.  After that we still had it down to 6 at half.  It had nothing to do with horrible effort the second half.

I think you're overstating the effect of the T.  After that we still had it down to 6 at half.  It had nothing to do with horrible effort the second half.

Honestly, I thought our offense looked pretty inept tonight.  I had a hard time distinguishing our offense tonight (emphasis on tonight) from that much of last season.

No I know but the T made a longer fight from behind.  It was at 8 and ballooned to 14 or so.  That changes the way the team plays for the rest of the first half.  Miles had to have White calm him down otherwise he was gone barely into the game.  I thought it changed the game.

Glad Kent had the stones to ask coach if they looked at Khiry Thomas (who had a GREAT stat line tonight).  Coach said we thought he was going to prep school and were waiting to see how that shook out, and Creighton got him signed.  Also got on Patton before anyone even saw him play in the summer.  "They've done a good job at that".

We should have challenged them in the middle of the zone instead of dribbling around. Passing has improved from last year but we still have a long way to go.

White is at least as good as Khyri, and it sounds like Gill is even better than White.  We can't have everyone on our team.

This actually pisses me off way more than the game, especially considering Miles had the self-imposed scholarship sanction again this year. Miles said McD got on him before Miles had a chance to look at "just like Patton". WTH is he talking about!?!
