Huskerpapa Posted June 15, 2015 Author Report Posted June 15, 2015 He worked out for the Piston's a second time...here is what he had to say (ahh, those double negatives): The three others at Monday’s workout are second-round candidates, one of them – Nebraska’s Terran Petteway – in for a second Pistons visit. And he didn’t try hiding his excitement. “I didn’t ask no questions,” he said. “I was on the next flight here, no questions asked. I don’t believe they would bring a guy back if they weren’t interested, waste their time, so I was definitely honored and blessed to be back here for a second workout.” Petteway, like Florida’s Michael Frazier and Louisville’s Wayne Blackshear, projects as a shooting guard. “I definitely think I’d be a good fit here,” he said. “I like the coaching staff. When I met with those guys last time, I definitely got a good vibe from them. It was just nice being around them. Hopefully, they see something in me that I can help this team out in the year coming up.” Quote

Norm Peterson Posted June 16, 2015 Report Posted June 16, 2015 Kinda surprised nobody's talking about TP working out for the Bucks today... Milwaukee has the 17th and 46th picks in the draft. They're not taking Terran with the 17th pick. So, if they're looking at him, it's with a mid-second round pick. Detroit, who he has also worked out for, has the 38th pick. Charlotte has pick #39. Those are more early 2nd rounders. Start talking about him working out for Memphis (#25), San Antonio (#26), LA (#27, #34), Boston (#28, #33) or Brooklyn (#29) and people will probably really take note. Quote

I would think people should start talking when he works out for any team with picks in the 50's like the 76ers whom have 58 and 60. With 4 picks in the 2nd round I assume they will do some trading but thats the team i could see him going towards. So a second workout with them would be huge. Quote

I could see them packaging up the 3 picks at the bottom of the round which is where TP would fall. Quote
bleujay Posted June 18, 2015 Report Posted June 18, 2015 I would hope Terran doesn't get stuck in the Hinkie circus show. Can't wait until the public opinion on his "project" flips and he takes the heat for all his terrible decisions over the past couple years. I've read that Embiid is now ~6 months past his timetable for recovery. What a joke. Terran deserves to play for an actual NBA team.. Quote
AuroranHusker Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Being drafted by the Sixers would actually be a good landing spot because meaningful PT is up for grabs. As Kamdy put it, it's quite likely that Philly packages several picks for other considerations... guess we'll know in a week how it turns out for TP5. Quote
Huskerpapa Posted June 19, 2015 Author Report Posted June 19, 2015 This blog is saying pick #27 to the Lakers...
