The lack of info is hard to read. But here is an April 19 report on his visit to Georgetown that doesn't sound real good for the Huskers:

"[sources] indicate that Louisville transfer guard Anton Gill is close to committing to Georgetown, with a formal commitment possible as soon as tonight. Gill visited Georgetown over the weekend and word is that he impressed the coaching staff both on and off the court."

I heard it went well though that's almost always what one hears.

Normally I advise against reading too much into twitter but I would read a little bit into a guy like Gill who rarely tweets in retweeting Agau. Given their current senior heavy list of shooting guards it's going to be a tough school to beat.  If Gill doesn't go to G'Town or Nebraska I'd be pretty surprised.

I'm not a member either, but let me take a guess: He came away impressed; the visit really opened his eyes about Nebraska basketball; and right now, he would definitely consider us among his leaders.

I'm expecting a decision very soon. He said after his Geoergetown visit that he wants to make a decision "as soon as possible" so he can get things lined up for summer school. So he had the Georgetown visit, had his ECU in-home, and now his Nebraska visit is complete. Hopefully he is N by this evening.

The Gtown fans seem to think they are waiting on another prospect that isn't deciding until mid May. Gill is a backup plan. I doubt Gill waits that long to commit somewhere but who knows.

That's very good for us if true. He sounded like he was very eager to get his decision made and start prepping for summer classes.

Which recruit are they waiting on? If the recruit is Nigel Williams Goss, he's apparently removed Georgetown from his list already.

I know he gets to play an extra semester, but wouldn't it have been nice if Akoy was transferring in the summer and they were both coming here?
