- I think this was as appropriate an ending as we could have expected for NU.

- I wish Nebraska didn't have to get down by 15-20 before they turned up the intensity.

- I have no idea what TP's gonna do.

- I have no idea if we'll see any other attrition.

- Wish we could have seen more of this Moses Abraham all season long.

- Let's say there's no attrition, I feel like we'd have a roster that could play an uptempo, constant pressure, Dana Altman style of game. Not sure that's what Miles would want to do, but I think they could have some success that way.

Don't have much to say that hasn't been said. I still think they'll be really good next year, whether or not TP comes back. I'm looking forward to seeing what it becomes. Here's to 2015-16 being the year of Nebrasketball's Redemption.

OK, for next year, we need people who can catch corner kickouts and hit the trey.  Not catch the corner kick, pump fake while the defender is hustling over to close out, drive forward about 5 feet and attempt an off-balance, mid-range jumper off the dribble.  No, actually catch a kick to the corner in rhythm and shoot (and hit) the jumper.

Same with kickouts to the wing.

We need to be able to make teams pay for leaving our shooters open.

When people think about the Rebellion in Star Wars, they tend to forget the Empire kicked their butt in the second movie.

Looking forward to the Return of the Jedi next year.

Let's hope we use that European vacation to finally get out of the gate quickly

Best analogy I've read in three months.

- I was thinking the same thing about Moses. I think that was the type of player Miles and Co. thought they would get when they recruited him. And I think he was starting to play like this before he got injured in December.

- I also think Miles has to look at playing more uptempo next year with no real big man again and a plethora of wing players and point guards.

Tough end of to the year obviously. We had all the bounces go our way last year at the end of games and couldn't get any this year.

Pitchford didn't play the whole second half. I wonder if his scholarship is next to go?

Don't see it. If he can get his head right, I think he's got a chance for a Conklin-lite-ish senior season.

Nothing against Walt, but it seems that teams have figured him out & he has no counter. Perhaps he maxed out last year... might not be a bad idea if Pitch were to do some soul searching.  You never know what goes on in the inner circle of these young men (end of last year eerily similar to this for WP, on the bench.)... Any thoughts?

He didn't even travel last week due to a muscle injury. Are you guys sure he's 100%?

We are desperately low on big men. You want to get rid of one that can be a matchup problem for the other team?

Walt is a guy who has moved around quite a bit in his career. How is running somewhere else going to make him better?

What goes does it do either the team or Walt for Walt to leave?

Missed a trip last week with a leg injury. Didn't play a lot during next game. And didn't look like he could run much today and we went up tempo. So I think that is why we didn't see any of Him in the second half. Too slow and too hurt. Jmho

Besides doesn't he have one more Sorority to date yet?;)

Yeah....leg "injury." He appeared fine today but I could be wrong. My guess it had more to do with his lazy play.

Miles said Abraham "banged his knee pretty bad," Smith swollen knee, Pitchford a little sore. "But I think we'll have enough adrenaline..."

NU probably turns the ball over too often to play the running transition game but it seems to me we were more effective,( being a relative term), on offense than our setting up and trying to execute in the half court.  Penn State was playing better at the end of the season and it is not a shock to lose this game.  The future is not terribly bright nor is it bleak.  I guess it is cloudy (no offense to Stan)

This season came down to shooting.  We couldn't shoot.  It is why our half court offense looked awful at times.  White, Shields, Petteway, Tai, and Walt can shoot better, and it would make a huge difference in what our offense looked like.  We shot 28 % from 3.  That is awful for a Division I program.  There are junior high teams that can shoot better.  I think it is mental.  We shoot an average 33 %, and that is almost 3 points per game extra.

Also, we have to figure out how to get to the line.  Whether that means we take acting classes, stop complaining, or something, we have to learn to get to the line, consistently.

How many points did the Abraham offensive rebounds result in?  I have to disagree.  Although he did play with great effort he was a big liability on defense end.  Really thought Leslie should have been in the last 4 minutes but injury could have kept him out and he was not effective either.  At least those two bigs play with effort.  I've never seen a 6'10" guy so ineffective at the rim so Walt has some work to do on his game.  14 blocks by Penn State.  Unbelievably poorly officiated game.

I tempered my thoughts... I had just finished watching the game when I slapped that one together.  Soul searching, perhaps, instead of parting ways...
