Haven’t heard if there is any interest in a Pick-em’ contest this season or not. I know Noah121 and Silverback1 are good to go so I decided to go ahead and start the Pick-em contest, and if there isn’t much if any interest I guess we’ll just scrap it. It occasionally will generate new posters or posters who seldom post to respond. We'll see how it goes.

If you wish to play the game it’s basically pretty simple, just post your picks in a reply to each Pick-em’ round thread. Make sure to pick your winners in each round of the Pick-em’ contest before the games are played. Games that are picked are regular season B1G conference games. A running total will be kept as the season goes on, on who can pick the most winners and overthrow reigning champ Silverback1 or if he can repeat. There are 14 teams this year instead of the 12 we were used to choosing from.

Games are scattered all through out the next few months and in some cases Pick-em’ rounds will run really close to each other time wise and in some cases they may overlap, so be on your horse and check for new Pick-em’ rounds often as they could be posted at all sorts of times and get your entry in before they tip-off. I'll try to get new rounds posted so we all have a little time to respond. You alone are responsible for getting your entry in right should you miss a game or round.  I suggest should you participate try to do so every round.

The first round starts this coming Sunday the 28th with 5 games and concludes on Monday the 29th with two games. I have listed the records of each B1G team following their non-conference portion of their schedule. Make sure you pick every game. As always good luck and good Pick-em’!

For those of you who are new to this game, I always pick against the Huskers and most times they win. So my record will not be that good.

May change Neb - Minn prediction before the game. I would like to know status of Cady.

Hope I am wrong but will stick with Minn prediction since we are so short handed for this game. I also did not do very well in my other predictions and have to go with my gut feeling instead of with my heart.

All I can tell you is that she tweeted about her therapy on her back.
