I just tweeted this at Joe Lunardi.

Look at Iowa's and now look at us. We are 46 RPI and 23 SOS and pass any eye test.

Iowa RPI and SOS are not even close. They have won ONE game in last month. When they had to have a win Thursday on a neutral court they lost to a 115+ rpi NW.

Walk me through how southern Miss, Florida State , BYU, US, Dayton and Tennessee should all not be ahead of them.Maybe we are in committee eyes...does Lunardi have a secret agenda?

Yeah, the Iowa Iowa one is the one that just baffles me. Why do they deserve a higher bid thn a lot of teams? Let's just hope Lunardi is wrong and Palm is right. Remember, Lunardi is an ESPN guy so they pimp him as this "guru" but nobody really knows besides the committee.

Yesterday Dirk Chatelain tweeted that he has a suspicion that Lunardi gets fed info from the committee.

I wonder if ESPN forces Lunardi to factor their stupid BPI into his projections somehow. In the last BPI, updated a little over two hours ago, Iowa is still ranked 22 while Nebraska is 57.

Yeah I just don't understand all of the projections still giving Iowa "lock" status. I have a sneaky suspicion we get the old screw job and have to play Dayton in Dayton which will blow. Yeah, at the beginning of the year we all would have been thrilled with making the play in round, but this team is better than that at this point and deserves a 10 seed.

Since the difference between those last 8 teams is really close, I fully expect Dayton to get a bye.  Its too much of a competitive advantage for Dayton to be playing on their home floor.

Let's look at it this way, would we rather play Dayton at their home or play someone else in the play in round.  I think almost every team in this situation would say they would rather play someone else.

But I'm one that thinks Dayton actually deserves NOT to be in the play in game.

In this case I think the one's finishing the season the best deserve the bye & the ones limping in should be in the play in round.  (SMU, Iowa, KState, Ariz St, Xavier) would be the one's I'd put in the play in game.  Wish Crieghton would have beaten Providence b/c they would have been another candidate for that last 4 in spot.

Didn't they already say that they wouldn't move Dayton from the Dayton play in if that's where they fell?
