This team can win 30 games!

Lets do it. We can beat anyone on our schedule.

I sense a little bit of sarcasm coming from the Pimpster.

I figured I would preempt the threads proclaiming we could/should finish 3rd in the conference.

But seriously we really need to win 1 of our next 2 road games.

Why stop there? Who says we can't finish 1st in the ACC?

We are a team with a future.  It is easy to make light of that, but ask yourself when was the last time you truly believed we had the potential to be pretty darn good...the foundation almost seems to be finished.  We gotta learn to win on the road though.

Patience, my friend. Miles is only 4 more victories away from 30 wins.  ;)

his record at Nebraska is now .500

Well, no; Miles is now 26-27 at NU. Win at Mythagain and he's Even Steven.  <_<

We could finish 4th... Just saying

No, we couldn't.  I mean is it possible?  Sure, but we could also win 29 games.

We are not going to beat out Wisconsin.  I mean heck, he are going to really struggle to finish 7th or 8th.

I mean our next game is against Michigan in Ann Arbor, lets not start counting that as a win just yet.  Its not like they are undefeated in the B1G or anything.

I don't know why we always want to set ourselves up for disappointment.

Actually, we could finish fourth.  At this moment we're tied for 7th.  We've played the toughest part of our schedule.  We haven't folded.

The B1G behind Michigan, Michigan St, and probably Iowa right now is a log jam.  It's not just us winning...it's the Penn Sts and Northwesterns of the world stealing games as well.

In the grand scheme of things, we're starting to look like a team that can make a NCAA tournament run next year....What I think is the "Tim Miles 3 year plan for success" is coming along pretty well.  As far as this year goes...making some sort of post season would be great but it doesn't matter as much in the long term as having a core group of guys that knows how to play together and knows how to battle back when things aren't going their way.  That's the formula for winning even if it doesn't always equate into wins in the short run.

Why are you so worried about being set up for disappointment?

Just keep on believing we can't do it and any winning we do will be gravy.

We're only one game in the loss column out of 4th place in the league.

We've played Michigan closer than any other B1G team.

Tell me, again, just why exactly can't we get a top half finish this year?

Consistency will be the key to finishing out this year strong. We can't continue to have a tale of two halves like we had last night and expect to sneak out a road win. The energy from the home crowd was what allowed us to make the comeback last night. Not going to have that energy on the road

Yep.  Sometimes they look like the worst team in conference and then later look like a strong 7th+ team.

I'm not sure this team will win a road game this year (@Northwestern probably best chance).  But they can protect home court.  Just doing that sets up well for a NIT spot.
