colhusker Posted June 20, 2013 Report Posted June 20, 2013 Days of baseball tournaments ended a couple years ago. May go sit at the winery up on the Missouri River bluff and come back to town in time to watch the local fireworks display. As mentioned before, Happy 21st Sea, be smart! Quote

It's not quite Canada, but I'll be heading up to the Arrowhead for about a week starting the 14th. Can't wait! Quote

The Army was heavily involved in my birthday "celebrations" that day. Hoowaaah! Quote

Bugeaters1 Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 I will probably work around the house. And have some Jimmie & zeppelin going. Quote

Love love love Vancouver. Sorry. Just messed up the previous post. Can you tell I've only posted a couple times? Just wanted to say that I live in Vancouver and couldn't agree more. It's IMO the most beautiful city in North America. And July and August are by far the best months to be here. We usually have very little rain then with lots of sun and highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s. But we try to get to the States for the 4th every year too since we are still American citizens. Quote

Silverbacked1 Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 Watching my sons blow up around $300 of their own money, eat with friends. Then the 5th going to see Jr. Brown at Zoofest. Oh yeah and probably sweat off about 5 gallons of body fluids. Also Happy Birthday Sea of Red. Cool to have a "famous birthday". seaofred92 1 Quote

KZRider Posted June 24, 2013 Report Posted June 24, 2013 Our tradition is to read the Declaration of Independence with friends as part of a back yard BBQ and watch the "Capitol 4th" PBS concert. Quote

Dean Smith Posted June 24, 2013 Report Posted June 24, 2013 The most beautiful place I have ever played a pick up game at was at Kitsilano beach. Water at one basket & the mountains going the other way. Quote

If only the Huskers would need to come and play at the Rogers Centre...a Canadian Huskers fan can dream, can't he? Quote
