I watched it last night. Coach Miles made it sound like we were not healthy at all right now.

That would really be a bad deal to lose out on some potential early season momentum because guys can't go.

nothing that great/new. Says theres potential for us down the road but we're going to take our lumps this year. Projects us to finish twelfth.

All is really says is that Tim Miles is still dealing with Doc's recruits and that the new arena should hopefully help Nebraska turn It around with basketball. Oh, and they give a projected starting 5...

What "Doc recruits" is Miles still "dealing with"?  Shields? 

 

There's only Shields, Parker, Rivers and Gallegos.  And Shields and Parker were re-recruited by Miles, so they almost count as Miles recruits.

 

Not challenging your interp of the ESPN article, Mich.  Just challenging ESPN's article.

Hey, i totally agree with you Norm. I guess to be a little more precise, It says that Tim Miles had to be Sadler-like with the style of play and at least to me, the author alluded to the fact that this year could resemble the same. And yea, the ESPN article was in no way good at all.

Just a reminder, Big Ten Network will televise the BIG media day tomorrow starting at 8 a.m. Central. It's scheduled to run 2-1/2 hours. Coach Miles could probably fill that entire time slot if they'd let him.  ;)

After the two questions he took on the TV broadcast, Coach Miles probably should have just kept going with his opening statement.  :P It was far more creative & entertaining.

 

Not a single mention of a newcomer by name by the studio hosts either. Saying this team is under the radar doesn't do justice how far off the radar they are - "got them just where we want them."  ;)
