Akoy seems like he could play Diengs role, But Akoy is a bit shorter.

Shorter, but thicker and probably a tad more athletic.  I also think he has the potential to be a much better offensive player than Dieng

I doubt that Petino would have recruited him if he didn't think he could fit him into his program.  I am only guessing, but I think Agau will do just fine at Louisville.  Of course, he would have done just fine as a Husker as well.

In my opinion Akoy made a good decision on going to a school that fits his style.  Central and Louisville have pretty similar styles.  They love to press and want to speed up the game.  Akoy has length and is a good athlete.

Like previously said, he probably won't make much of an impact as a freshman.  He's still got a lot of developing to do on his offensive game.

More athletic than Deng?  Are you serious? Have you seen either play?

haha that caught my eye too, were talking about a guy that averages a double-double and was 8th in the NCAA in blocks last year. No way in hell is Agau more athletic.
