They didn't seem to want to say what the discrepancy was exactly. At least the announcer wasn't able to get an answer.   Don't know if they were both wrong.... or it was one end or what.

But the caches said let's play.

That's pretty weird considering it's the NCAA's.

I believe the talking heads said it was on one end only.

This classless behavior by a majority of teams and players needs to stop.  The NCAA is enjoying this.  Women's basketball is becoming extremely popular as it is starting to represent a soap opera.  I don't know if people would be watching without Angel and Clark acting like 5 year olds.

This is what happens when NIL gets out of control.  It gives individuals (kids) more power than the coaches and universities that need to hold them accountable

Like it or not, Iowa’s coaching staff does a great job teaching fundamentals. Case in point, Iowa scored several times beating LSU down the floor catching long passes and putting the ball in the basket.  Catching the ball is an underrated skill.  Clearly Iowa lacked the athleticism of the Tigers but by being sound, competitive and skilled they earned a win.  Yes, they have Clark but the other players contributed to the win.  The O’Grady girl played big minutes off the bench.

Have to agree. Very well coached team whether you like them or not.

Grudgingly agree.  LSU is one of the few teams I dislike as much as Iowa.  With zero rooting interest, have to admit, it was a good game to watch.  Tough, competitive kids, across the board.

3 starters played all game

USC

5 starters all had 30+ minutes

LSU

7 players played

So who do we think will win tonight? Myself I see South Carolina in the first game. Think they win by double digits. In the late game think it will be close game between Iowa and UConn. Iowa will need to run as much as possible IMHO. Will also need a big game from Martin, and Affolter or Marshall. If Iowa can run like we know they can I think they win. If it is a slower paced game I think it favors UConn.

CC not doing good.

UConn doing a great job making her uncomfortable and forcing her into stupid mistakes and bad shots.  That being said, Iowa only down by 6.  If any of CC's teammates decide to show up, they can still win.

Edwards did lean in just a bit (marginally).  It's something that you maybe call the first five minutes to set a tone.  After the first 5 probably not and in the last 2 minutes definitely  not

Edward’s had knocked Marshall down earlier in the game and no foul was called.  I think it was a foul but the inconsistent application of the rules is maddening and leads to the wild conspiracy theories flying around social media.  It detracts from the solid job Marshall did guarding Bueckers, those key turn around jumpers by Martin and the solid game by Iowa’s post player.

UConn really held their own in the tourney, especially considering they've lost 5 players to injury this season.

Hopefully we get our injured back and ready to play this upcoming season. Shows  the need for a roster with back up players at all positions.

Yes, the offensive blocking call with a few seconds left pretty much help decide the game. There were lots of uncalled fouls on both teams earlier.

"That call" is the example of what is wrong with officiating throughout high school and college ball.  First of all, there was contact iniated by the offensive player.  That is a foul.

Now the issue; that foul is called some of the time, but not all of the time.  It can be a foul or not, depending on the whims of that particular referee, that crew or the situation.  That lends itself to favoritism, or inconsistency at best.
