He makes bonehead play after bonehead play, and is ridiculously lazy on defense. He’s a fake-hustle guy.

He's played basically a season's worth of games now.  You could call it fake hustle, but he's sliding across the floor against Iowa for a loose ball.  Sam does the same thing tonight and you are probably praising him.  I don't think his knees are going to let him reach his full potential.  He still is going to be a serviceable big man before he's done.

I think you are right. Unfortunately, and unfairly to him, he's gonna be expected to be more than serviceable next year after Walker is gone. Hard act to follow.

I think it will help if Keita comes back.  He (Wilhelm) can come off the bench.

Sliding across the floor IS an example of fake hustle when you aren’t committed to doing all of the other, little, far more difficult things that require discipline, focus, and consistency.

Not fake hustle at all.

You could say he is undisciplined, slow reacting, or a few other things, but calling out his hustle is not a fair point.

I'd say that Breidenbach isn't allowed to compete in any more pre-season 3pt shooting contests until he gets his career average above the Mendoza line

Although...he looked no worse then anyone else shooting 3's last night; in fact, one could argue that he was better than most.  Honestly, I trust him more at the 3 point line more than anyone other than Tominiga, Sam and maybe Lawrence.  Perhaps that is unfair; but I am not alone with that line of thinking/trust.

Yes I understand that most everyone is poor at shooting 3pt shots.  I'm not saying that he should stop shooting them as 2-3 aren't going to kill us. What I am saying is that he's poor enough at 3pt shooting that he should no longer be allowed to compete in a meaningless exhibition of skill.
