Watching Bryce McGowens just getting flown by and pushed around by Kennesaw State guys, is…. Something

It's all about effort and "want to".  He locked in for a bit in th first half and it's understandable that a true freshmen has eased up a bit in the second half with a large lead.  Certainly some teaching moments in film study!

glad huskers found a team they could beat. also fortunate ksu jr. about as committed to defense as NU is.

i'm pretty sure that's going to change shortly. still, enjoying this one. it might be a bit before the next.

The defense? They gave up 34 at the half. 51 at the 10m mark. That’s 17 a “quarter.”

Not a fan of blow bys and wide open shots. Last 10 minutes of 1st half were solid. Kennesaw has missed some looks

This mf'ers aren't even calling the game live from PBA. They are remote! Wow!

Not exactly a new concept in the covid era.  They were remote for the NC st. game also which was a much bigger one than this.

Post-game Press Conference:
Verge & Lat for the first 6:30, then blank until the 8:15 mark when Coach Hoiberg takes the podium.

Important to get the win, seeing shots falling, helps build confidence over the break.
Attributes better play to practice & preparation, been tough practices.
Getting pulled Definitely gets players' attention.
Learning, going through Adversity.
No one has given up on the team. Team goals are still attainable.

Coach Hoiberg.
Had 2 days of good practice. Players didn't take Film Session (criticisms) personally. Verge set the tone early (other than the first few minutes), good ball movement & making the simple play. 20 Assists a big improvement. Derrick & Eduardo good play-makers, when they get the ball good things tend to happen. Real tough grind coming up - have to continue to improve and get better. Test will be when we hit the rough patches that we know are coming up. If we play like today we have a chance. Said Wilhelm Briedenback had successful surgery (in LA), expects to have him back ready to go next season, but didn't elaborate on the injury excpet to characterize it as a 'knee.'
