A couple quick video peeks seem to show good traditional post moves but also the ability to hit from deep and a few nice passes in traffic. At 6’8” maybe they see him as a 4 rotating with Breidenbach rather than a true center? Would pry need to work on his quickness on the defensive end.

Not sure if he's 6'8" to 6'10" but this dude is like 250#.  He might have a similar skillset to Breidenbach but that bulk is the difference between being a 4 and a 5.

Looks like a poor-man's Gus Yalden.

PI: If you could team up with any high school player in the country when you guys get to college, who would you pick?

JK: Honestly, that’s a really tough one (laughs), but as long as they give me the ball, that’s good enough.

Eduardo at the 4!

I just think they may not be expecting Lat to be back next year and are looking for someone to rotate with Breidenbach there.

This would fill a Walker / Keita role correct? Maybe Walker has indicated he might move on.

Hard to determine about a guy who hasn't made it on campus but feels like he'd fill a Kojenets role.

I forgot about Kojenets.  If he redshirts this year it is odd that we would go hard after a center like Kohler. Trust in Fred and Matt!  They know how to build a team better than I do.

This kid is blowing up, now with recent offers from Illinois, Michigan State and Iowa. He's transformed his body and now looks the part of a sleek, skilled 4. And his work is paying off with the offers he's getting. Don't know if we're still in the running or not, but we just offered his prep teammate, Denim Dawson.

(The guy he's practicing with is a 4-star who just committed to Stanford.)

Look at the video above. He's not 250# anymore.

Unless I missed something, he has an official visit lined up in October so I'm guessing we are still in the mix.

Getting him on campus will be half the battle as Michigan St seems to think they have him 90% of the way into the boat

If he still shows up for his scheduled visit in October I’d be surprised.  After going 0/4 on our top PF recruits I feel we’ll be focusing on a grad transfer or the portal going forward.

Yeah.

I'd be surprised too...
