Dead Dog Alley
Even if your ideal lineup is to have a multi-talented player in the 6'7" to 6'9" range at the 5, when you're in the Big 10 it's a lot easier to get one of those players if you also have a legitimate center. If you don't, when you're recruiting the smaller guy he'll look at the prospect of going head to head down low full time, and might have some second thoughts about coming here. Even if you've got a guy who can come in 10 minutes a game and play the goon role it would help. Do you think Roby would have came here had he known he'd end up playing the 5 75% of the time? thrasher31
colhusker
Figured when he took this visit and did not verbal to us right after it we were losing out on this one.
rwhiston
Maybe I have some sour grapes but watching film on him the word soft kinda came to mind. Would I have taken him absolutely. Am I nervous about our front court situation yes. But I think we still have options that can lead to solid rim protection and rebounding thrasher31

AuroranHusker
Shamiel Stevenson could be the answer, and he may become immediate eligible due to his coach leaving (again). Edited May 9, 2019 by AuroranHusker

Yeah, that's the reality of the situation: Can't happen; not that it shouldn't... I'd love to smack down Woj and his Milwaukee squad of ballers.
