aphilso1 Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 Silver lining from that half: we now know Harris can straight up play D. He'd shown flashes earlier in the season, but he was all over the place on the defensive end when on the court. Nebrasketball1979 1 Quote

Not saying that our shooters are sucking it up, but blaming it on players having to play D or pass to a single guy is a terrible take. Literally every team has to play D. We seem to be the only one to shoot terrible. Literally every guy is missing shots. Palmer has taken a ton less shots the past few weeks. Still not winning too many games. The Seniors on this team downright refuse to pass it to Borchardt, even when he is wide open. Tanner has better hands than Roby, Watson, and Palmer when it comes to simply catching the ball. Its maddening to see passes hit our guys in the hands, then they have to adjust. By that time they are being guarded close. Makes playing defense against us very easy. Heaven forbid they throw it to the guy who can actually catch it most of the time Quote

Can anyone else on the team say that tonight? Quote

hskr4life Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 Good: We make our first 4-5 shots after half. Bad: We're still down 17. Quote
FredsSlacks Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 penn st's 3 pt% is better than our fg%. that's a pretty sad stat. Quote
Cowboy Kermit Posted February 20, 2019 Report Posted February 20, 2019 How nice of Penn State to have a player on their roster who's name describes a fraction of their opponents' fanbase. Might not be the exact spelling but I will say I've chuckled everytime I've heard the name Myles Dread tonight. tcp 1 Quote

Or at least it appears that way. But now it's even harder to pass the ball to him when he's sitting on the bench with 4 fouls with 18 minutes to go. Ouch. Rawesome79 1 Quote
