I'm not sure all the blame is on the coach. These players have been pretty nonchalant on the rebound and transition.

How many close to the bucket did the Huskers miss?

I agree with you, but, if you want to keep your job you have to bring in players who won't be nonchalant

yep. that's part of recruiting. you have to identify some highly competitive kids who you know can be your engines on the court. Glynn could've been that guy, but he's grown used to deferring to Palmer. He's a great kid, but not a leader.

And that seems to be this programs problem: developing leadership.

Sorry Fever I won’t call for his head, to soon for that, but I will no longer support a guy who has this much talent and we watch this crap over and over. Can he right the ship yet this year yes

I hear you both on that. I've been on the "wait it out until the end of the season" boat, but it does seem like Miles is making that season shorter and shorter as we speak.

If Moos is not going to be given the green light to hire the next coach just send him out with Miles.

No sense keeping around an AD you don’t trust.

Why wouldn’t Moos have the green light?

I was grilled for voting in poll against how this team would do. seems maybe I may have been right.

3 bench points today, just bad roster management to be this thin after 7 years

Hasn't his roster management been to live off of the transfer market? He's done a great job with that, but when you're 90% reliant on that, it doesn't speak consistency to me.

well, we're not alone in the home shock department. Terps are taking it from the Illini at home.

Underroos saving his job right now.

And seeing Xavier Johnson ball out in Pitt is so freaking annoying.

Lots of rumors around Lincoln that Moos may not last much longer either. That may be Miles only saving grace IMo.

I have now heard this several times over the past couple of weeks. I am certainly not plugged in at all but where is this coming from?

That's been his saving grace for a few years now. Not an ideal situation for a coach, but he's survived Osborne, Eichorst, and Moos right now.

Damn.. this is the kind of loss that fully and utterly deflates and depresses you. The kind that makes me not want to make the effort to make the next home game... :,(

Exactly my feeling. My emotional investment in the program — which goes back a full 50 years — will be minimal until I see that the players care as much as I do.
