atskooc Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 I just had a request for some Public Enemy at the junior high dance I'm DJing. I was impressed with that request (though I couldn't play it). I grew up on PE. Quote

Micah Heibel fronted Brain Hammer, or as it says on their CD, "Micah Heibel - Sellin' it like a mother." Quote

But half of those were seriously entertained by the last working band I was in in the mid 80s. I really, really wanted "HaHa Death Camp". We wound up being Sid and the Four Skins...heh heh. And lasted for about 5 gigs. jayschool 1 Quote

Many of you seem to be into the music scene (at least the classic rock groups!) So who do you like? I will start with my favs (not really in order) 1. The Beatles (of course) 2. The Clash 3. The Replacements 4. INXS 5. Green Day 6. Death Cab For Cutie As you can see the 60's British invasion, the 80's punk/new wave sound and modern and classic alternative for me. I saw the Replacements at the Drum Stick around 1984 or 1985! Awesome show! Edited May 2, 2018 by BigTate jayschool 1 Quote
