Whole team looks choppy.  Just not fluid.  Refs will call it right for a few and then let them bump.

Just do away with traveling, if you are going to let Pardon blatenly travel down low.  Just throw the ball down low, pick it up, and run with it.  Nothing different than Pardon is doing right now.

What are the chances Miles runs an actual offense in the second half? Probably too much to ask.  The panic with seconds on the shot clock was old years ago.

Also kind of one of those teams that bump and grab, but are good at it so they don't get called as often as they should.

 

 Mean while the offensive player gets knocked off balance or pace to just be off.

Yep, and NW can displace our guy to make room for a shot and no call. Glen gives a little nudge and a foul.

Defensive game so far.  Both teams having something to do with the others' bad shooting.  It's NW's second chance points that are the difference right now.  14 offensive rebounds for them.  That's offensive.

1st half thoughts: I really dislike Pardon, and Palmer looks super unathletic compared to Law and Lindsey.

Getting killed on the offensive Boards, 7-14, they've taken more treys, 12-7, but both have made 4 of 'em.

nobody sets a pick for palmer. you can't just expect him to drive right to the hoop without a screen.

Best lineup is Roby and Copeland at 4 and 5. What they give up in size they make up for with length, athleticism, passing and versatility.
