Possibly two freshmen centers in one class. Im assuming one of them has to be ready to play while the other redshirts.

Are either Thamba or Hieman capable of playing the 4?

I guess i didnt think of Roberts with this offer. My initial thought was maybe Hieman flipping to Creighton since Creighton is now in the market for a big.

Here is an article on Florent Thamba from back in January.  The article starts out like this:

When Florent Thamba says he’s only been playing basketball for 5 years, it’s unbelievable to see how good he has become in such a short time. The long & lanky 6’10 big man, who is featured on a young & talented team at Mountain Mission, is quickly developing into a significant two-way force.

I'd take them both. Heiman has a 3-point shot and can put the ball on the floor.  Thamba looks like more of a Jordy-type center.  I want the big man.  I'd take 'em both.

The kid has loads of talent and when he further builds his upper body and gains about two or three inches on his vertical game, he will go into beast mode.  The video shows him playing against pretty talented teams and players, yet he appears to be the best player on the court.

Besides, I love how his name flows off the tongue.  Yes, I want the dude playing for the Huskers.

Any news on this front? I'd really like to snag this guy

He will be a spring signee.  He had a lot of schools come in recently so he will have his pick and I'm sure with a strong season will garner even more interest.

I agree, we need a good flowing name to give our tongues a break after Thorir Thorbjarnarson. I've tried to get that one to flow and just can't do it.

Maybe he watched the first five minutes of the game, and got on the phone to schedule his flight for the next day. We have playing time available.
