Wouldn't be my first choice of a game but it should still blow him away when he sees the game atmosphere and even more important, the facilities. Quote

hhcmatt Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 We will know on Oct 17th either way, probably http://d1vision.com/nate-roberts-commit-date/ Nebraska: “I know they play a fast paced game. They need more versatile guys that are not just bound to play a position but flat out play hard. I know that my former teammate, Thomas Allenloves it there. We have a great relationship outside of basketball so he’s been telling me how things are going over at Lincoln.” Syracuse: “The name speaks for itself. Over the years, coach [Adrian] Autry and I have built a strong bond. He loves my potential as a player and me as a person. Their players that make it to the next level. Coach [Jim] Boeheim and I have developed a relationship recently and he’s come to watch me play a few times. He likes my game and knows what I can do to help the program.” Wake Forest: “Coach [Jamill] Jones and I have had a close relationship over the years. Since he’s gotten to Wake Forest he’s been recruiting me hard. Coach [Danny] Manning and I have developed a relationship which also is a plus. With coach Manning being one of the original versatile forwards in our game, it helps to know that he actually has been through what I’m trying to go through. So, I could learn a lot from that experience.” UConn: “Although UConn has been down for a few years, the name alone speaks for itself. Coach [Dwayne] Killings and I have developed a close relationship over the years that he’s recruited me. Hearing coach [Kevin] Ollie‘s vision for the program and believing that he needs players like me to push the program to that next level to where they used to be is important.” Quote
bigFRED Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Nate and Xavier on a visit together makes me excited. Quote
bigFRED Posted September 10, 2017 Report Posted September 10, 2017 I love the in home visit concept. If i remember correctly Tim and Kenya had one with Thomas Allen after he got his Kansas and other offers. Seem so genuine and personal for the coach - player - family roles in college basketball. I am asking this, because I don't know the answer...don't all coaches make in home visits? I thought everyone did this. Quote

AuroranHusker Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 From the coach of Brewster Academy prior to Nate's visit to Nebraska. That's a nice touch. [Also helps that Thomas Allen played at Brewster with Nate Roberts as well.] Quote

ShortDust Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 If nate is 6'11 and it sure does look like he is I want him even more. That big and that skilled already. A mold of Copeland to come in right after! Please, but looks like Cuse is the team to beat. Quote

Norm Peterson Posted September 20, 2017 Report Posted September 20, 2017 Final 3 is better than being out of the running. Final 3 on a couple of good ones and still in the running with both. Love to land them both. Get in enough fine 3s and you eventually should land one. Just a numbers/odds game. Quote

It's good to be in on the top talent and make the final cuts. Hoping that the Allen/Brewster connection pays off this time. mwm89 1 Quote
