He may, but these things are subject to change. 7 footers with his athleticism are rare and he'd probably get drafted regardless of whether or not he's ready to contribute next year, even if he's advised to go back. His arc of improvement is exceedingly step. 

 

Or maybe he'll stick with Creighton because they believed in him first.

those mocks also had petteway as a early 2nd round pick.

 

patton is a legit 7 foot with 3 point range and can run the floor. He should be on those mocks.

12-6 should do it for sure. There are some Michigan St examples you can look at on this.

I think 12 conference wins (including the conference tournament) is the magic number. I don't think it's as important who they come against, though. If you get 12 wins by beating better teams, that means you lost to some teams you shouldn't have. If you get to 12 wins by beating the 12 most beatable teams, that means you didn't have any super impressive wins. Either way, there's ups/downs of each scenario.

Now that Nebraska is 3-0 in conference...if they can beat Northwestern on Sunday to move to 4-0 in Big Ten play (and potentially 1st place in the conference standings), then this conversation starts to become very very real.

Palm has NU as one of the first four out.  He has NW as an #8 seed.

Correct.  Lunardi publishes this on Thursdays, thus before our win against Iowa and also before Northwestern's loss to Minnesota.

With dropping the game against Mich we probably dropped out of Lunardi's "next four out" but...we actually gained a few spots in the RPI(46).  Also, after yesterday's games...per Warren Nolan the Huskers have the #1 ranked SOS.  After Rutgers that may drop back a few spots.
