Jugular Posted July 2, 2016 Report Posted July 2, 2016 That might be the funkiest jump shot I've ever seen. He's left handed but shoots "jumpers" right handed??? Quote

Dean Smith Posted July 2, 2016 Report Posted July 2, 2016 That might be the funkiest jump shot I've ever seen. He's left handed but shoots "jumpers" right handed??? That's a two handed shot with the release point way out in front. Quote

Fullbacksympathy Posted July 3, 2016 Report Posted July 3, 2016 Not too concerned about the shot myself. This kid is a super athlete, great finisher, and looks like he creates a lot of easy shots for teammates. I think he'll be an excellent D1 PG. I'd love to get him. Quote
TheKamdyMan Posted July 3, 2016 Report Posted July 3, 2016 Not saying its not possible but if Shawn Marion and Kevin Martin can make it with their shooting form, as long as you score I don't care how funky those two hands are shooting. Quote

Odd form indeed. Kamdy do you think his release is quick enough to make it a non-issue? Quote
northwillriseagain Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Very Shawn Marion-esque shot. Looks like a quick release. Now we can have our basketball version of arm punt. Quote

Odd form indeed. Kamdy do you think his release is quick enough to make it a non-issue? You never know until they get in to college. The speed of the game increases so much its hard to simulate the difference as well as the talent upgrade across the board to know if its enough. Quote
bigFRED Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 I would be totally pumped to get this guy, or a guy like this. But honestly when these top 100 guys come up I tend to just write them off as no chance for us. It's not that we don't get good recruits, but these Top 100 guys that we pick up on pretty late, usually don't come here, along with those good shooting big men from Wisconsin or Minnesota. It seems like the guys that we get are the ones that we are on early and that are in the Kansas/Missiouri/Illinois area. Transfers though are completely different. Quote

I guess it depends on how much of a relationship Lewis had with him as Butler offered a while back bigFRED 1 Quote
mwm89 Posted July 17, 2016 Report Posted July 17, 2016 Yes, but now the bigger question is how interested is Batts in the Huskers? Quote
Red Don Posted July 18, 2016 Report Posted July 18, 2016 Although his recruiting has blown-up, big time, with offers from Oklahoma, Florida State, Wake Forest, Clemson, Tennessee, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State, VCU, DePaul, Yale and others -I'd say we have a (fighting) chance! "Rivals 150 PG Batts quickly gaining interest in Nebraska"Batts averaged 20.7 points, 5.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game in leading Robinson to the North Carolina Class 3A stat championship last season. As a result, he’s widely regarded as the state’s top overall 2017 prospect.Batts said two of the biggest things he was looking for in his future school were strong academics and the chance to make an immediate impact as a true freshman. He said he could see Nebraska offering great opportunities in both of those regards. mwm89 1 Quote

kldm64 Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 He just narrowed his schools down to his top 7. They are: Oklahoma, Clemson, Georgia, Georgetown, Florida State, VCU and Nebraska. Some pretty good competition but can’t get him unless you make the list. Silverbacked1 1 Quote
