Hiroo scored team high 20 today and was 6/14 from 3. Started and played 21+ minutes (3rd most). Beat Angola 75-65. Two more friendly's vs France early Thursday morning our time and Slovenia early Saturday morning our time. Luka supposed to play for Slovenia Saturday but didn't play against US 2 days ago for precautionary reasons. I've been thinking about all the great jokes that can be made this year coming up... Q: "will Iowa win the Big Ten championship this year?" A: "I wouldn't bet on it." Then again I'm just waiting for the time Colorado loses a game by not being able to convert a 4th and short..."looks like Coach Prime and the boys came up about a foot short..." That last one might be in a bit poorer taste though.

6/14 is like two games of 3/7, which I would definitely take as season averages for attempts and makes per game. That would produce 43% shooting from beyond the arc. I would absolutely take that.

They have all their best pitchers, and those are three starters, but all are just starting their junior years, and while they are talented, not necessarily their three best players right now. Springer and Evasco are a year older and more developed. And adding back Clementi after his 1st year of college is huge. My son pitched against them last summer, and Springer was a beast then. I can't believe he doesn't have high major offers.

I'm hoping he can score more in the 12ppg range. Getting at least 90% of DW's scoring. Because I don't think he's going to get 90% of his assists. Might get more rebounds though, I'm not sure.

I wonder if Ulis will make the same bet, given his propensity. Sorry, couldn't resist!
