We're going over 20 pages on this one too...easily. But a though occurred to me just now. Maybe it's not that going over 20 pages is the curse....maybe it's not getting over like 50 pages on a kid is what's the problem. We just need to post MORE in these recruiting threads!!!3 points

Tai's summer
HuskerActuary and one other reacted to GATA for a topic
Nice comment from BR in his chat today... I can confirm that Tai will be staying in Lincoln through the first summer session, which goes until the first week or two of July. After that, we'll have another update on his plans. He's going to have a busy and productive summer, I can tell you that. And yes, he and Terran have basically been camping out in Hendricks. I've heard those two are really getting after it, not happy with how the season ended and showing some serious determination. That shouldn't be a surprise with Petteway. It's a great sign with Tai.2 points -

This board is dead. And most new threads are off topic. And don't tell me to watch baseball (aside from the Huskers) I would rather watch the grass grow.1 point

I hate offseason with a burning passion
AuroranHusker reacted to uneblinstu for a topic
Well, dang it. That was my suggestion. I like baseball, so, there is no offseason for me, which sucks for the rest of you, I guess. That and the grass does grow pretty quickly this time of year, so I guess you've got that covered either way.1 point -
I hear ya. It is a bad time to be slow at the office. During the season I would spend all kinds of time on here. Now I spend all kinds of time popping in to see if anything new has been posted. I'm running out of work friendly internet to look at.1 point

please help! Husker gear question
AuroranHusker reacted to MidwestDrummer for a topic
I have a hat with this exact same design made by Zephyr. If I recall correctly, I think it's a size 7 1/2 (fitted) and it's got a curved bill. I don't wear it anymore because my head has gotten even fatter somehow. It's a bit grungy (can be washed obviously), but if you're at all interested, let me know.1 point -

i dont care if he's 6'4 like chuck barkley, dudes game is big ten ready, he has long strong arms, and solid frame, like that freshmen wisky had this year. Yes that's my point. Height is overplayed. Having some matters, but if you have some a teams not gonna pass up the incredible skill set for just another guy with an extra 2 inches. Cue the rehashing of all the jokes. Maybe so, but earlier in this thread, I believe, there was a quote from some big kahuna coach who said if Ed was a couple inches taller ... So, it seems to matter to the big kahuna coaches if a kid is 6'7" or if he's 6'9". And, if it makes a difference to them, it doesn't really matter what I think or whether it's his wing span or whatnot.1 point -

good for DB...18 hours in spring and 15 in the summer is no joke. Texas Southern loses 6 Seniors from last year so there is PT to be earned.1 point -

But he also speaks pretty highly of the Minnesota program as well. He also says facilities won't have that big of impact on his decision. This is a kid that I'm keeping my fingers crossed Miles can land but it won't be easy. On the bright side...he did not mention Bradley, Creighton, Iowa State, Iowa, UMass, Illinois-Chicago, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wyoming at all!1 point -
Also: "It's possible I might still grow so who knows," said Morrow, who noted he has sprouted an inch and a half in the last month.1 point

Thank you, Nebraska - B1G Baseball http://b1gbaseball.com/2014/05/26/thank-you-nebraska/ I pulled into my driveway right as the clock in my 2012 Honda Civic flashed 1:00 p.m. Nearly nineteen hours after I drove out of Lot C at TD Ameritrade Park I was home. The exact time I saw Omaha from my rear-view mirror I forget, the numbers on the dashboard at 6:whatever time it was Central blur together, just as scenes of the rest areas along I-80 in Iowa to nap for a few minutes. Mentally and physically exhausted from the 66 or so hours spent at TD Ameritrade Park from Wednesday at 10 a.m. to whatever time it was Sunday evening I left, it’s hard to remember specifics of a whirlwind of a week. But there is one. 19,965.1 point

Like nails across a chalk board. Sure picked a topic that pecked at people's eyeballs. Peter Piper picked a peck of people's eyeballs. Say that 5 times real fast.1 point
