Yep just did the glance forward at the remaining schedule and did the W and L thing...it's amazing what a 4 game win streak will do to those Ls that were once definite Ls and how those should be W games become locks. I think we clocked in quite comfortably at 11-7 for our final B1G record. Oh my. A couple weeks ago it was where in the world are the possible wins?

Can we? Yes.  Will we?  Most likely not.  The lack of a serviceable big will rear it's ugly head over and over.

After watching last night and seeing how this team has matured and improved, I think I want to change my vote.

We do play Purdue twice but we only play Maryland, Iowa, Michigan St, and Michigan once.

We play Rutgers, Minnesota, and Penn St twice.

 

We're not a great team but we do play a very soft B1G schedule.

This sounds about right.  Which means that even with last nights win, an NIT is still a minor uphill battle.  I do love what Miles has said a couple of times in the last week or so.... our best basketball this year is still ahead of us.

Why does Miles always wait until about a quarter of the way through conference play to start making waves? Doesn't he know if he starts a winning streak earlier, he might end with a better record?

I think as a P5 school and in the Big 10 that 17-14 is pretty solid for the NIT.  18-13 would be much better so lets just do that.
