We have to go real hard after Marcus Foster at this point...

You think he would mature?  I would hope, but we don't need more chemistry issues... thats for sure.

Thatd be my concern as well with Foster

That, and do we want a guy who will want to be "the man" and have the ball in his hands... a lot

I want the ball in the hands of the guys that understand how to put it through the little round hoop with the net thingy hanging from it on a regular basis.

Tariq Owens Frosh PF from Tennessee is transferring.  No named schools but said he is talking to some Big Ten schools.

6'10" 3 star frehman fleeing a NCAA quagmire/coaching change? Put me down as interested.

That's the kind of situation where maybe the kid isn't the problem; maybe it's the program he was in.  And so it's not like you're looking to take on someone else's chemistry problem.  In Tennessee's situation, there's clearly a program in turmoil no matter how good the kids are.  Sorta like the dumpster fire that was Texas Tech when we got the Petteway transfer.

Wait, wut?

That's me saying that I'm interested because it's a kid leaving a program in turmoil

And I agreed with you totally.  And then I realized my Petteway example didn't exactly prove the point.

Though I expect him to head back to the pac 12. I'd love to see us go all out on freshman transfer Shaqquan Aaron. Just announced he's leaving Louisville. I believe he would be incredible for NU and thrive. One of the best pure scorers I've seen in high school in person.

At 6'7", he fits Miles' profile of a 2-guard/wing that he likes to have.

Leon looked extremely raw at Creighton.  He'd probably be best served going to a mid major conference where he will have time develop.  It was never said why we stopped recruiting him, but I have to assume our staff saw he was a ways off from being ready to contribute at the B1G level.

Because the staff was reading my posts in the Leon Gilmore recruiting thread where I pointed out how he wasn't very good.

(OK, I'm kidding, obviously, but if I could see it, I'm sure they could.)
