This is exactly what I was thinking... I do not think we play like this every night. I think that we should be ok. I can not wait to see how we bounce back against Oregon. Hope we play better even if we do lose. Another plus is that we have a chance at 3-1 in the 4 game non con stretch. We have 2-2 locked already, which is probably more than I was hoping for at the beginning of the season.

I don't think Vucetic is going to be a good enough player that you wanna use five scholarship seasons on. I'm perfectly fine with him not playing early on, or even at all this season.

well, considering the shooting, not especially surprising. And the Jays weren't all that sharp, either.

So the formula for competitiveness for us looks simple: if Gallegos and one other player can get hot, we can stay in games. If not, we're toast. Not happy our guys stopped playing organized ball in the last 8 or so minutes, but it had to be a really frustrating night.

Not saying we make a shot at a post season tournie, but there are winnable games out there come Jan. Feb. and Mar.

I'm referring to the non conference schedule re: winnable games. as for the conference, the loss of frazier opens up a couple of opportunities. But anything above that will require near 50% shooting for us. We simply have no other way to score points besides made baskets. And that's not going to change now. It's just the team we have.

ahh... that makes more sense. Yeah after Oregon, we should get the rest of our Non Con games. Hope the guys can deal with adversity... I dont think we have a shot at our first 3 raod games MSU, MU, and OSU, and in that stretch we have Wiscy at home. Then we get Purdue at home after those 4, and that is winnable
