The atmosphere during after TP hit that three to make it 10-3 was unbelievable. Could barely hear Kugler at all.

Same as after Shield's second dunk. Couldn't hear the whistle for a timeout. Ray was still playing defense until all the other players were past half court heading to the bench before Ray figured it out.

Edit: By the way, Ray's defense Sunday night was outstanding in my opinion.

Let me  say this. I was at the Oregon-Arizona game on Saturday and people were saying that was the best atmosphere they've had in that building since they opened it a little over two years ago. I felt more intensity coming from my TV on Sunday afternoon watching the Huskers from 1500 miles away than I did sitting in the Ducks' arena.

Even with the game in doubt with under 2 minutes left the fans would sit down almost immediately after cheering a big play by the home team. Their students are solid but the other fans were pretty weak. Hell, the energy coming from The Vault had me standing all game long on Sunday. No comparison.

Awesome that you got to that game Steve. I could sense BTN was trying to get across how nuts it was at PBA during the opening 10-3 run. Lots of crowd shots and panning up the student section. The got away from that a little bit and if you watched on TV you might not realize that it was like the first four minutes the entire game. Thought the crew did an exceptional job all in all.

If you still have it on DVR, sync it up with the radio call stored on huskers.com. Lots of fun, and probably better than watching the Horizon League title game on TV.

I have done that a few times this year. It is awesome. I think I did it for the Indiana, Illinois home game, and a couple other wins.

I could watch the first 3 (game time) minutes over... and over... and over again. Now that was fun.

I gotta' admit, the first 3 minutes were fun, exhilarating, bursting with hope and passion. Yet, still nerve wracking, knowing Goliath was nowhere near out of it...and the game not over by any stretch of the imagination.

Rather, give me the feeling I had the last two minutes...gleeful, inspiring...the joyful floating feeling of reaching the peak of K2...

to look down upon your promised land...the new frontier... with tears of joy the only thing obscuring my view!

Sunday was the first day I ever heard a basketball game as loud as the old tile and tin gym at Omaha Holy Name was in the 1950's during their championship runs...

Making a 16K arena sound like that old over-packed tin can....AWESOME!!!

This is going to be fun...and Miles to go before we sleep!
