I am beyond nervous...this game is scaring the snow and rain right out of me.  I hope this team is ready, Penn State has proven it can go on the road and win.  We need this win, let's get it done!!!

My expectations were NIT this year and we still have to win a few games to make that happen.

If we do falter this year and don't quite make the NCAA tourney it will only make us hungrier when we run next year.

Yeah I get your sentiment dimes and we have already surpassed my expectations for this year but now we have a real shot at the MCAAs and now I want it bad.

I am super nervous (which is a good thing) and I will be disappointed if we don't make the NCAA tournament. It doesn't mean I will consider the year a failure or that they underachieved, they have already surpassed my expectations. But it would be a missed opportunity as they have the chance in front of them and I believe they are good enough to make it.

Tonight....Go Huskers and Go Sparty! A win tonight by NU and a loss by Purdue and we are looking very good to at worst be the #6 seed in the BIg 10 tourny.

The team has just looked quietly determined to me.  That's kind of how Pitchford described it on the post-game radio discussion with Kent Pavelka after the MSU game.  Pavelka asked him about the mood in the locker room after the game and Pitchford acknowledged they were celebrating and pretty happy about it.  But then he immediately piped in that it's on to the next one and that their focus had pretty much already shifted (or words to that effect).  And that's just right after the MSU game.

 

A letdown against PSU would really surprise me.  This seems like a team on a mission.

The list in the quote box was my prediction (which was obviously thrown off slightly by the partial building collapse in Indiana).  The list on the bottom is how things actually turned out.  I predicted Iowa would beat Wisconsin at home but that didn't happen.  And then Iowa didn't end up playing Indiana last week.  So that's where things stand.
