ajb5856 Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Robin's article from today makes it sound like Dusan's first choice is Arizona, and that it is likely that he ends up there. If he goes on the Arizona visit and it turns out that he doesn't like it there, then he will come here for a visit. He says his top choice is Arizona and makes every indication that he will commit there while on his visit. http://nebraska.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1613734 Does Arizona have room for him? I don't know specifics on Arizona but it sounds like they might have some early departures for the NBA. Quote

TheKamdyMan Posted February 25, 2014 Author Report Posted February 25, 2014 Aaron Gordon is still projected a top ten pick and will probably leave opening a spot. They have one scholarship senior which leaves another. They signed 4 in the fall. Which leaves them two spots to still move some guys and thats before Ristic. Quote
lanigan123 Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Sounds like he is all zona. Quote

Yeah...sign Ristic and that's 3 guys they need to boot. That seems like quite a bit. Heres to hoping Zona does not offer! Quote
Section_316 Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 Sounds to me like if he goes to Zona this weekend and they don't offer, the change is there for Miles & co to seal the deal… Imagine this dude, Hammond, Deng, & TD…. could we do that with what we have available + SV gone?? Quote

You can always over sign but if he doesnt go pro you are left having to "make room". doc1394 1 Quote
Norm Peterson Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 This is what Draft Express said were his weaknesses: Weaknesses:-Below average athlete. Lacks quickness and explosiveness in a serious way-Poor open floor speed-Struggles to finish around the rim in traffic due to limited leaping ability. Rarely dunks the ball-Effort level can be questionable at times. Not a fiery or intense personality. Lets smaller players take loose balls right out of his hands at times-Lacks toughness inside the paint. Doesn't seem to love contact-57% FT% at NIJT. 42% in Serbian league-Doesn't always show up in the big gamesFrom DraftExpress.com http://www.draftexpress.com#ixzz2uSQwm2PLhttp://www.draftexpress.com Remind you of anyone? They also have him as a one and done guy and a first round pick in the 2015 draft. Remember those weaknesses are to play in the NBA not in the B1G. I cant think of ANY recruit Nebraska has ever signed that was even projected out of HS to be a one and done guy so I will take him. I mean the #3 team in the country wants him to the point they have to make room just to get him. Quote
Swan88 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 Thanks, Kamdy, for this information. So, the Huskers are, apparently, now a first alternative back-up plan to Arizona for this athlete, who is projected to be one-and-done and a first round NBA pick. That . . . is definitely a sign of major recruiting progress for Tim Miles & Co.!!! Quote

And not a fiery personality. Wasn't commenting on his draft worthiness; just his resemblance (in terms of that description) to a player who was here before. That's all. Moving right along ... Quote

Immediate playing time and guaranteed spot here at Nebraska. Quote

The Polish Rifle Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 What interests me is Arizona has a center right now (Kaleb Tarczewski) that is projected to go a pick in front of Ristic in next years draft. Seems like that starting line-up will be busy with 2 first round 7-footers. Quote

No draft website has him listed in the first round so it'd be pointless to go second round unless he's tired of college. gobigredbrah 1 Quote

Sean Miller knows his guys better than anyone. If he is over signing by 3 kids, it might mean that he knows something we don't. Quote
ShortDust Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 All signs pointed to him committing this weekend, is there any proof yet? Quote
