They had 3 high D1 players, 2 small college players, and a kid good enough to walk on at NU and did not make state last year. Hopefully they reach their potential this year. They missed out on state by a fluke shot, as I recall. Quote

Their best win all season was against a team who went 14-10 (seriously, they did not beat any other teams with a better record). They did not miss state because of a fluke shot. Quote

thrasher31 Posted August 22, 2019 Report Posted August 22, 2019 https://247sports.com/player/max-murrell-46058635/ Murrell is a 4 star by 247 now..... And looks like he scheduled an OV to Iowa. Already did an OV to Stanford as well Quote
khoock Posted September 6, 2019 Report Posted September 6, 2019 Hoiberg and Co will be on the road recruiting this week or next. The 2020 commits, Millard North trio, and Chucky Hepburn are the only players mentioned by name. Im gonna go out on a limb and say the staff wont do much more, if any, 2020 recruiting. Whatever scholarships open up due to attrition will be used on transfers. Quote
Navin R. Johnson Posted September 9, 2019 Report Posted September 9, 2019 (edited) MikeSautterOWH ✔@MikeSautterOWH Iowa State, Creighton & Missouri were in to see 2021 Millard North wing Hunter Sallis this morning. Creighton also at Millard North this morning for 2020 F Max Murrell. Nebraska will see Sallis and 2022 F Jasen Green this afternoon. Stanford home visit with Murrell later today. Norm Peterson Posted September 9, 2019 Report Posted September 9, 2019 One of these recruiting classes soon, we're going to need to get a couple of Hoiberg 4s. Murrell might have those attributes, but we're full up for 2020. Quote

khoock Posted October 14, 2019 Report Posted October 14, 2019 North star without him and Donavon. Thats a tough break for a team that looked primed to compete for a state title. Dont they have one other player who is committed to like UMKC? Quote

They have a returning post player named Lopez that is solid high school player and athletic but is only about 6'4" khoock 1 Quote

Should have a much bigger role with them than he did last year as a sophomore (I thought he was underutilized then anyway). Quote
