I'm surprised no one on this board has mentioned the October 4th Eagles concert at the Pinnacle Bank Arena.  Must not be many Eagles fans here.  Actually, I'm not one myself.  I can take 'em or leave 'em.  I Can't Tell You Why, but their music has just never given me that Peaceful Easy Feeling.

Speculation has it ticket prices for the show will be On The Border of 2 to 300 dollars for prime seats.  I'm sure there are many In The City of Lincoln who will gladly pay that price to experience One Of These Nights.  I guess, in The Long Run, that's money well spent.  If you don't have the cash, there's always the credit card.  You can Take It To The Limit when you add in the cost of T-shirts, autographed pictures, bongs (oops, only available in Boulder) and a Tequila Sunrise (or 10).  Speaking of alcohol sales, when partaking at the new arena, Take It Easy.  I don't want anyone making an unplanned stop at the LPD where you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.

The encore(s) should be most enjoyable.  There will be plenty of elbow room since half the crowd will be Already Gone to beat the bumper to bumper traffic.

I wonder if Tim Miles, the New Kid In Town, will be at the show?

For those few who might be offended this isn't a basketball topic,  Get Over It.  :)

I had front row seats to the Don Henley concert in Murphys, California over a year ago. Actually visited with Don for 10 minutes back stage. He was a quiet, polite man. We talked mostly about his family. He performed all the Eagle's great songs to perfection that night but honestly looked a little bored onstage. Still, I will be at the concert in Lincoln in a heartbeat!!!

bongs (oops, only available in Boulder)

C'mon, cip, you know that's just the Rocky Mountain Way...

(okay, okay, it's technically not an Eagles song - although they play it in concert - but you took all the rest of the  good ones!)

Well the PBA has now pretty much covered the bases in the first 4 concerts.

Old- Buble

Teen-age-girls- Pink

Old Rockers- Eagles

Country- Aldean

Now they need to get one for the teenage-age-boys, R&B, Classical and Some thing a bit off the norm (bluegrass, heavy metal, jazz, ect.)

I love the Eagles and was glad that I got to see them during the Hell Freezes Over tour back in 1995. After they sacked Don Felder, I lost interest in seeing them live. It's just not the Eagles to me without Felder, even though I know the band has gone through multiple guitar and bass players.

Club seats are priced at $179.50 for the Eagles.  Pretty steep but I guess it is only money right?

Yeah, these old guys are pretty proud of their concert.  I've already let someone else have my seats.  There are much better ways to blow $360.
