Good for Neb. We may not have much experience next year, but neither will most of the other teams in the B1G.

Unfortunately, they'll still be much more talented. :(

Maybe... Who really knows?  We have 6 maybe 7 possible guys that have never even seen the floor.  Not saying they will be the best 6 or 7 guys in the Big 10... but no one really knows right now.  This is great for us though, as it allows us to possibly catch some teams by surprise and make a run at doing something next season.

I agree with this. I'm not saying that I expect Nebraska to light the Big Ten on fire, I do expect to see some considerable improvement. Nebraska played most of the Big Ten teams pretty close this season and in most cases Nebraska didn't even look like they belonged on the same court with those teams. If some of the players with NBA talent on those other teams arent there next season, then that is obviously a good thing for Nebraska (Although it may not be the best thing for the prestige of the conference as a whole). Next season I expect Nebraska to actually start looking like a basketball team again (physically, eyeball test, length, athletically). They may not look like Duke or North Carolina, but they can look like a legit basketball team.

We will be okay next year.  Maybe not close to where we will be five years from now, but this may be the most talented group of players we have had in years...and we are not done yet.

To reiterate a point made in the "Trey is leaving" thread, all this just makes us more competitive in the Big 10 next year. It would be nice to see us move up because our own team is getting stronger, but this will do for now. As the old joke goes, we only need to get faster than the slowest runner to avoid being eaten by the bear. Oh wait, Baylor isn't in our league any more.
