Not in terms of $$$$ it wasn't a lateral move. If it was a lateral move I seriously doubt Nebraska would have even entertained the offer. And Mose...it's not my fault you don't remember the conference realignment talks on the Jays board. Of course, it just came down to jealousy.

So, anonymous message board posters said it?  Not exactly something I'd put much stock into, but whatever.  Anyway, have a great off season everyone!  I look forward to what the future brings.

The "State of the Program" thread over on BJU is a lot of fun!   :)

Welcome to big boy basketball, friends.

If someone on the internet puts together "season highlights" could thy set them to Soul Asylum's Runaway Train?

This quote got me... I can not believe that they shot that well against us.  Just a punch in the gut looking at their overall percentages.

Jays have shot 28% (46-165) from 3 over this 6 game losing streak. Its doesn't get much better as we are only 33% from 3 on the season.

Hey, I have that album!  From back when they actually sold physical disks rather than data packets transferred over the internet.  Great album.  Sad song.  I can understand why you recommended it.

It seems no one can help me now

I'm in too deep there's no way out

This time I have really led myself astray

And, Nebrasketball would IMPROVE with a 33% three-ball shooting line. ((ughh))

Not gonna lie, living in Omaha, I hope CU continues to struggle. Their blue-balled bandwagon may very well hit the skids & lose a wheel or two. Think Rick Johnson & 2,000 of his closest friends may never happen again for Crayton, but a not-close-to-being-filled C-Link might not all that far-fetched, either. McDermott better get his resume ready just in case as the more fickle boosters will want another McBuckets & there isn't another one popping out any time soon...

I am loving every minute of it. And yes, BJU has some fun dumpster fire reading material. Some are realizing that the Big Boy life isn't as easy of a transition for their so-called "top-tier" program they thought it would be. And yes, some of their fans consider CU just that! LOL

Welcome to the Big East.

You mean...welcome to a Big Boy league???

Where Big Body Boys are an every day requirement?

See the Husker's struggle while our big bodies were injured and out, for an example!

They only now starting to provide limited minutes.

CU failed to realize how much they benefited from having Greg E 2 seasons ago (I would have loved to add him to our roster)...who had nearly as much to do with CU dominance in the Valley as Dougie...

Finally, their coach made a monumental mistake when he discontinued producing babies 20+ years ago :o ...as he needed the next player of the year to continue this run. ;)

In all seriousness....I root for the Jays when they do not play NU...but many of their fans have significantly underestimated what it takes to wallow through the Big Boy league schedule.

This is not a schedule of your one or two non conference rivals and the 1 or 2 strong teams in your league this year...

It will be at least half your league that is more than willing and able to eat you alive!

Stop looking for only 4 or 5 games a year of importance...as double digit games are the norm for toss-ups...or worse.

About spit my soda all over the screen when i just read that Hanson would average 20-20 if he played in the Valley, and that Creightion plays in the best league in America now.  You talk about "Debluesional."

Somewhere on this board a few weeks ago there was a Creighton troll probably trying to rub our nose in the loss to Indiana, if memory serves.

And I suggested they better hope they can beat DePaul (they didn't) or they might go 0 for January.  I'm looking more prescient by the game.  I think they have 3 chances left to win a game in January:  @ #4 Villanova, St. John's and Georgetown.

Then their February begins @ Xavier and @ St. John's.

If they don't sneak one at home against St. John's, they could begin conference play 0-12.  Or make it a baker's dozen because after that, they're at home against Marquette.

Remember what they'd all say when we tried to tell them it was easier for them to pile up wins in the Missouri Valley?

St. John's is such an up and down team, and they'll be coming off their big game vs. Duke this weekend with all the #Coach1K hype surrounding it...they may be set up for a big letdown.

That will be the big chance for Creighton to get a win until, like Norm says, Marquette.

Some are already calling for McDermott's head.  It didn't take very long.  Things will get better next year for them(how can it not? Like NIT better)...but they better get use to being towards the bottom of their league.  They will be there more often than not.

Their excuses sound eerily similar to the Doc years when we were close to winning against good teams. And I'm not saying that as a diss to Doc. I was and still am a Doc Sadler fan. They are totally DeBluesional. Some of them are even claiming that we would be getting messed up by everyone in the BE. Funny stuff over there.
