i don’t know why we keep going to Bryce to handle the ball in late game situations.  He has very poor ball handling and passing skills in that role.  Not sure what the coaches see that they like in that situation but we keep doing it….

Love this board and everyone on it, but I might need to step back a bit. I can tell that the losses are bringing me down and making me more negative. Hard to keep the good vibes going when they’re tanking so badly. Thanks for being a great board and GBR till I die!

I agree - but it seems to be the only way to get him the ball.   Never seems to happen if someone else brings it down because the defenders never let go of him so he can get a pass.

He's a turnover waiting to happen in these situations. It's what? 4 times this year?

The problem is we have Connor who can hit a shot.  Gary can hit a shot despite missing from 3.  Rollie can get to the rim.  Maybe they foul him on the shot, and he gets an and 1.  Worst case he gets an uncontested bucket.  We waste 5 seconds instead of 12 seconds.  This is the basketball gods knocking us back to reality.  They let us have a year and a half of fun.  Now, it's time for Nebraska to rip our hearts out.

We have to go to Bryce to handle the ball because we have to take both of our point guards out of the game because neither of them are competent shooting threats.

 

But I agree we need to have a better option if we want to compete in this league.

 

Maybe try Sam?

We were at our best down the stretch last year when Brice was handling the ball. For whatever reason he's loose with it this year. He's on pace to easily have the most turnovers in his career.

Not just have the most. On pace to obliterate that number. 
 

His career high is 61 (last year).

 

He can only afford less than 1.5 TO/game just to match last year. At the rate he’s going, he’ll finish with at least 70+. During our losing streak he’s averaging almost 3 a game. Almost double last year.

This is only the 3rd game Nebraska game he's reffed this season.
