whoopdeedoo Posted March 10, 2022 Report Posted March 10, 2022 Mendelson has stated her goals---and the highest ones lean towards volleyball. so, it won't shock me if at some point she decides to concentrate on volleyball. i could be wrong........but, i am just gonna enjoy the ride and hope she has a great college career no matter what. whoopdeedoo Posted March 15, 2022 Report Posted March 15, 2022 Washington State WBB coach Kamie Ethridge is another coach expressing frustration with the NET rankings, questioning why Arizona State (12-14) is ranked higher than WSU (19-12), saying she needs to learn more to maximize NET in future; starts ~4:15 mark https://t.co/efnTd3YD2S — Raoul (@Raoul_000) March 15, 2022 Quote
hskr4life Posted March 15, 2022 Report Posted March 15, 2022 I don’t think they ever released how it was calculated did they? Quote
hhcmatt Posted March 15, 2022 Report Posted March 15, 2022 Nebraska and their 23 NET ranking is an 8 seed while Washington St with their 58 NET ranking is also an 8 seed. With just that as a basis I'd have to wonder how much weight the NET even has in seeding. The Cornfather, mwm89 and hskr4life 2 1 Quote
mwm89 Posted March 16, 2022 Report Posted March 16, 2022 My thought was it looks like it worked out OK for them (WSU) really. But I get her point. Quote

KarlHessEatMy.... Posted March 17, 2022 Report Posted March 17, 2022 Oh now that would make more sense on why. I am sure they have a sour taste in their mouth after what Ed went threw here. I forgot about Ed. Quote

I'm not quite sure what sour taste Ed would have had here other than he wanted more time on the perimeter. I guess he also had a few foot problems. Could you elaborate as to what created his sour taste for Nebraska? I thought it was generally an amicable parting. Sort of the sign of the times so to speak. Quote
whoopdeedoo Posted March 17, 2022 Report Posted March 17, 2022 i only caught part of this on the broadcast of the DePaul-Dayton game, but, announcer stated dad wanted her to go to nebraska. this is the part i didn't quite catch was that mom wanted her to go to DePaul? mwm89 1 Quote

She has been the women's basketball coach at the University of South Dakota since our NE Amy Williams departed the USD program. South Dakota beat Ole Miss and No. 2 seed Baylor in the NCAA tournament this year before losing to Michigan in the Sweet 16 finnishing the season 29-6. Plitzuweit went 158-36 in six seasons at South Dakota, including four NCAA tournament appearances. She was named the Summit League Coach of the Year three times. mwm89 and Cazzie22 1 1 Quote

whoopdeedoo Posted April 18, 2022 Report Posted April 18, 2022 Maddie Krull and Kyah Watson from USD have entered the transfer portal. was told they made a trip to WVU and take a look, where their former head coach at USD took the position. what else is floating around is that they may be showing interest in Nebraska and/or Creighton. i know Krull has been a very good player for USD---don't know much about Watson. the other rumor is they may go back to USD. if huskers don't have anything stirring in the pot, i know Krull may be a pretty good pick up. anyway.....like i said, basketball rumors.
