Williams will be on a BB scholarship.  If you play BB and another sport, you are on BB scholarship.  Just like Mendelssohn was on a BB scholarship even though she was a volleyball player.

Cool, thanks.  Glad that is set in stone.  In fact, I was even wondering if she was following the Sam Hoiberg route as a walk on with a supplemental NIL deal.

I don't know how many of you new that Kennadi got hurt in highly rated Southwest's soccer win over Omaha Marian last week.  Was carried off the field as she got hurt right at the end.  She is their leading scorer.  Never heard anymore.

Hope Kennadi gives herself time to heal completely. I think I remember she had some injury right before the GBB State tourney. Also did she not have a knee injury a year or two? While three sports in HS is not a problem but also assume she does some club stuff as well. that is a pretty busy schedule.

That disappoints me. Still, better Creighton than Iowa.

I kind of figured that is where they would end up.  With Creighton losing pretty much everybody in another year they will get a lot better chance of playing.

I mentioned Halle Dolliver as a player to watch a year ago after her outstanding freshman season at Malcomb. Her club coach is Alex Markowski and I'm sure they have shown interest in her. She is a multisport athlete with great athletic DNA from both Dad and Mom.

with all these offers (and could very well be others on the list).......not feeling to good about this one.

at first started to think maybe OU or OSU came calling and staying close to home, however, i see in her statement she stated any interested schools to contact her coach (paraphrasing).

While our staff has had some recruiting wins, we have been on the short end more than we should be. If you can't get kids to come in right out of high school then you better be very active in the portal or things can turn very quickly.

Maybe staff went on summer vacation in March.  How would you know?  I mostly read LJS and OWH.  Even with that limited access, I read of the efforts Hoiberg has been making to build his roster. You read articles daily how the football team is chasing recruits.  They promote their programs.  WBB?  Have read very little, if anything, since we gave our coach a contract extension.  The silence is deafening.  With the roster improvements existing teams have made through the portal and recruiting, and the addition of the new teams to the conference, I'm concerned. I hope I'm wrong.  As mentioned by others, there is still some time to bolster the roster through the portal.  Fingers crossed.

 

Honestly, I find more information on this small site regarding Husker WBB, than anywhere else. Yet, that isn't much. Wish more was shared. GBR

Agree with 12 Dozen post above.  Here we had 1 recruit for 2025 and we can not even keep her in the fold!!!!!!  Geez what do recruits think about Williams.    Dunce?? Personally, I would not have given her a new contract.  Her plan is apparently no plan!
