One down. Edwards' stock probably couldn't go any higher.

A few more underclassmen I wouldn't mind saying farewell to. Except for perhaps one...:)

A no-brainer for Carsen Edwards to declare. He balled out in the Big Dance. I'm not sure if he is good enough to be a Steph Curry clone, however. Guess we'll have to wait & see.

Yeah, I don't understand the comparison to Curry.  I heard the announcers make that comparison and thought it was absurd.  The dude from Oklahoma was compared to Curry last season, and I didn't buy that comparison either.  Edwards has too many droughts to be in the Curry atmosphere.  Is he good yes.  Can he play in the NBA yes.  Is he going to be a Curry clone...no way.

The only comparison to Curry and Edwards that I have heard is that Edwards was the first player to average 25+ points a game through the first 3-4 rounds of the tournament. And that Edwards had 132 points through 4 rounds and Curry had 128.

If they're insinuating those two are the same, outside of NCAA tournament stats, then I don't know where that's coming from.

Edwards put up Curry-like stats at Purdue, not Davison, against B1G talent. To say there is no comparison isn't fair. There are parts of his game that are better than Curry's at this stage. Does he become as good as Steph, pry not. But at the same time in their careers, you can't say they aren't at least comparable. Steph got better after college, Edwards could do the same.

Anything's possible. No one truly thought Steph Curry would be other-worldly after he declared for the draft. I think C.E. has a lot of positives, the comparison to S.C. isn't fair in respect to where Curry eventually ascended to but it's certainly an "option" for young Carsen.

Maryland G Anthony Cowan is expected to withdraw from the Draft and return to school, per sources. Announcement tonight.

Big for Maryland. Their backcourt is stacked and all those freshmen showed flashes of greatness last year. They add four 4-star frontcourt players to go along with potential lottery pick Jalen Smith. Terps are gonna be tough next year.

The above post is the reason i dont watch college basketball aside from Nebrasketball. Talent disparity between college ball and NBA is wayyyy worse than the disparity between college football and NFL.

Obviously both the professional leagues provide a higher quality, but i can watch college football and still be satisfied with the level of play i see most of the time. I cannot say the same about college basketball.
