I like when we have players that participate with their national team in the offseason.

Fred said that Ullis will be eligible to play this season.

I just watched the first quarter. Man oh man this is such a huge get for us. He can dribble, pass, shoot, facilitate...he is more mobile than Mast even when Rienk was healthy. Fred also said on SN last night that Berke is officially taller than Rienk. Let Fred work with him on his shot and this guy will be an NBA player. I loved Rienk and Allick and was very worried with how we would replace them, but between Berke, Meah and Morgan, I think Fred has not only successfully replaced everything Mast and Allick did, but added more that they couldn't do. The season can't get here soon enough.

Here is the U19 game vs the USA that Berke played in last year. Had Big 10 players Dylan Harper (Rutgers) and Miles Corvin (Purdue) teamed up with a whos-who of soon to be freshmen college players. Berke operates as either the SG or a wing for Turkey. He runs the court well, he's a good passer. His plus 22 in the box score isn't a surprise as he looks like Turkey's best player and maybe even the best player on the court. Seems like he's going to be a mainstay on the Turkish national team and you can see why people like him as a NBA prospect.

FWIW, according to Rivals Morgan is NU's highest ranked portal transfer. I think we also got caught up in the William Kyle III hype around that time and overlooked what Morgan can bring to the program.

I think it's gonna take until about Christmas time for me to be able to recognize who all we have on the roster much less worry about who will play and have an impact.

I found it interesting how much Fred talked about Andrew Morgan. Maybe we are all underestimating the kind of impact Morgan can have.

Jerry West was my idol growing up in small town Nebraska. I tried to emulate his jump shot and everything about his game. #44 was the jersey I wanted to wear but our uniforms were sized by number so my second choice, #22 honored Elgin Baylor. I was crushed by all the Finals defeats at the hands of the Celtics. The Lakers never had the big man to battle Bill Russell until Wilt. He was the epitome of a humble superstar. I haven’t been a Lakers fan since he was unceremoniously released. Zeke from Cabin Creek was the Los Angeles Lakers. RIP.

Per Hoiberg on Sports Nightly, Allick had ankle surgery and is rehabbing. We'll see what he does after he heals up.

The Orioles broadcast has Will in the booth saying he felt like a proud dad. Both have pitched really well. Cade slightly better. Spencer had a hard luck 3rd inning. A lead off double, a bloop single, and a couple ground balls led to 2 runs.

I graduated high school with Triston from North Star in 2016. High class dude....and a baller.
